Training

HORIZONS is very interested in helping organizations develop their own capacities to manage themselves. We can work as shadow consultants to train an internal consultant or other staff individual or team as well as with community leaders and organizers to learn to use whole system approaches. Developing this capacity is an important part of growing into a true learning organization or self-organizing system. Some of the ways we can do this:

• act as a shadow consultant and partner with an internal consultant or team as they develop the skills to manage their own practice
• take a group of potential "consultants" and "clients" through a training in one or more whole system techniques
• provide workshops (we can customize these to suit your needs, from several hours to several days.)
